Welcome to my Homepage! My name is Renata, I was born in Santos in September 3 and I live with my parents in Araras, a town located in the São Paulo State, Brazil.
    I started to take piano lessons when I was already 16 years old at Conservatory "Lorenzo Fernândez", in Montes Claros, a town of the Minas Gerais State. After 1 year, I went to live in Araras, where I studied the piano with teachers Maria Cristina Betelli Pinton and Maria Alice Duarte. In 1989,  I was admitted at  "Escola Artistico Cultural Pirassununga", music technical school (conservatory) in Pirassununga, São Paulo.
    I studied the piano with these teachers: Douglas Lopes de Moraes, Dirce Maria de Falco, José Renato Barzon and the concert pianists Cláudio Richerme and Alfeu Araújo, Professors at UNESP (University of São Paulo State). Nowadays I teach piano and music history in my town.
    I studied Computation at the "Escola Técnica de Comércio de Araras"  (Technique School and High School)  and   I am graduated by  UNIARARAS - College of Biological Sciences of Araras (Biology Degree).
  

My favourite composers are Villa-Lobos, Lorenzo Fernandez, B. Bartók, Debussy, Liszt and Ravel. But I like very much Beethoven, Chopin, J. S. Bach, Soler and D. Scarlatti. I like ti listen Jazz music and Rock too - Nirvana, Depeche Mode, Bauhaus, Joy Division... a mix of styles!
    For resting I like to surf on the Web, computer games (Myst and Riven are my favorite ones), to reading and to watch movies.
    As hobby I like to study eletronics, but I am still a beginner! I build a little theremin by myself, you can see some photos here.
    I like pets very much and I made two pages for my dogs: Paty and the unforgettable Mila, she left us and went to Rainbow Bridge. Be welcome to their pages!
